HI, ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO I GOT 2 MALE GLIDERS THEY ARE ABOUT ONE YEAR OLD. AT THIS POINT WE HAVE YET TO BE ABLE TO TOUCH OR HOLD EITHER ONE, ONE IS A REAL NIPPER, TRYING TO GET FINGERS OR PART OF OUR HAND THAT HE CAN BUT, RUNS AROUND FINE OUT OF THE CAGE, STILL WE CAN'T HOLD HIM EVEN THEN. THE OTHER IS SUPER SHY, DON'T IF HE IS ALSO A NIPPER, CAN'T GET CLOSE ENOUGH TO FIND OUT. THEY EAT VERY GOOD AND PLAY AROUND IN THE CAGE AND OUTSIDE AS WELL.SHOULD I TRY TO CARRY THEM IN A NECK POUCH? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.

Hello! I hope all is well w/ your new friends winkTo learn a little more about taking care of them, bonding, etc, I suggest you click on "links" on top of the page, then go down to Boubon's Sugar Glider Info. You should find everything you need ther. Any other questions, we'll be glad to help. smile

Bill, i am also fairly new to the glider thing, ive had my guys for about 3 weeks now. But i have learned one thing, the bonding pouch works WONDERS! My little guy and i have made it through a very difficult time together, and this bonding pouch has helped ALOT ! I do recomend it highly ! And the main thing is persistance, do not give up no matter what. It may just take time. Keep trying, every single night, and do as much research as you can ! Hope all goes well for you and your new little guys !
