Thanks to all the advice from everyone. I am steamed about the uncaring breeder, and at myself for not knowing better. But I look at it this way, at least Rocky is with me, and thanks to you, I will fight for him. Thanks, Shelia, for your help on getting my lil guy to eat. For anyone else with a baby with this problem, here's what we did. Shelia told me how to sweeten Rocky's formula to make it more appealing. She then showed me how to feed him on my hand, though my lil rascal decided he didn't like being in my hand. He fought to get out, and to run up my arm and go back to laying on my bra (typical male, huh?) hehe. So, I incorporated Shelia's idea of getting him warm and sleepy to his love of my chest (please, no comments!) I used my eyedropper to drip a lil food under his chin, onto my bra. He licked it right up... I kept it up until he turned his head completely away from the food. Success! Rocky has his first good feeding in 3 days! He's a happy lil guy, but apparantly the happiest when he's in my shirt. And what's a few wet spots when you're trying to raise a baby? Anyway, thank you so much Shelia for all your help. And I'll bug you like crazy for more help, I'm sure. smile

Great to hear things are going so well. Yes, you're absolutely right ... it's just like a male to go straight for the inside of a woman's bra raspberry

I now have Rocky on the suggested formula, however, he seems not to like it as much as the other. Maybe because it's more filling? I think he may have eatten only a few drops. Here's to the first night of a very long next few weeks. smile I think I may have to be a zombie, thank God I don't have to work!

Jennae, that is too cute! He will be so attached to you; he already is. winkTalk about a great bonding process! I am so mad at that breeder! How could this poor baby be taken away from his mommy so soon? At least he's lucky to have you to love and care for him. raspberry

Thanks Lu and Kimi... It's the morning of my first long night. We can definately say that I'm going to die before this is over..haha I got approximately 3 hours sleep last night. After that feeding that I worried about, Rocky's 1:30 AM feeding went much better, he ate a lot. Then his 4:30 was a nice amount too. I got back to bed at 5 AM, and wouldn't ya know it, the BLM kicked in. The little rascal was up at 6, running circles around me. He wanted to explore all he could, and learned to jump from a pillow standing on it's end, to my shoulder. Apparantly, we've bonded enough already that he isn't afraid to wander. He does look over his shoulder every once in a while to make sure I'm there. Also, he found our remote control for the DVD. He just sat on it playing with the rubber buttons for a good 5 minutes, then kept running back to it. I also played with him with a Q-Tip. However, he wasn't as distracted as long as he was with the remote. Needless to say, I kept wishing he'd go back to bed, but nooo, baby had energy for the first time. He didn't want anything to eat at 7:30, but took his meal at 8:15...and boy, he worked up an appitite. So, I guess alls well that ends well. I was going to go back to bed until next feeding, but I'm awake now (though not coherent), so I'll sneak a nap in after his next meal. Thanks for the kind words, well wishes, and all the support!

Oh, that's beautiful! I've had mine for almost 2 months now, and there's NO WAY I could feel confident letting her play in such an open area (my room)! raspberry I'm glad the baby is eating well and has energy! You're the best thing that has happened to Rocky. You know, maybe w/ someone else he wouldn't have the same fate!
I'm so happy for both of you...

My glider chewed the rubber buttons on my remote control. She once found my remote key for the car and popped all four buttons completely out! If you want to keep your remotes intact, it's better to keep them away from a glider.
