My glider is 12 weeks OOp, and she has a small break or gap in her fir above her left eye. The fir isn't pulled out or anything. it doesn't bother her. I noticed it about a week or so ago and I figured it was the way she slept or something. I was wondering if this is normal. I'm not worried about it at all, just wondering if it is something I should watch. There isn't a bump there or anything, just a very small crease in her fur. wink

Is she housed alone or still with mom and dad? Is it possible she has been scratched by parents or maybe has scratched herself.
Since you can't see any wound now, maybe this is just how her fur has grown. Has she always had this to the best of your knowledge? Does her eye look ok?

She is housed alone. There is no scratch there or any bump or irritation. Her eye is fine. I don't remember it always being there, but it looks like thats just how her fur has grown. I'm not concerned, I was just posting incase someone know of some problem this can be an indication of. wink

I don't know of any problem this might be an indication of,but I'm sure if someone else does they will post a reply.
Meanwhile, I wouldn't worry and just keep an eye on it.

my glider has fur like that on her back. Im not really sure why it is like this, it just the type of fur they have where it can cause it to look like breaks, mine has it all over her shoulders like its all seperated

my girls are both the same age and Louise fur looks like that kinda all over, well..... actually the best way is to describe it is she has fine or thin fur as aposed to Thelma who has thick fluffier fur, that is the way I tell them apart.
