Hello everyone. I'm new to this board, but read a lot here and frequent another. I have had my glider now for 2 weeks. He's 8 weeks oop I got him a little early. We play well together at night, but when I want to put him in a people pouch during the day he crabs like there's no tomorrow. I don't know if I should push the issue and just take him crabbing/biting and all or should I leave him be? I really want to carry him and bond with him, but he doesn't want to leave his cage pouch. I was told to keep them seperate (cage vs. people) Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks smile

i think it can be helpful to use his/her cage pouch as a people pouch..so there isnt so much of a differance for your glider..it may make him more comfortable to have something farmilliar (ie..his scent&the pouch he is used to ) when you take him out. mine still crab whe i take them out in a pouch..but as i have been doing it they have been crabbing less. you also might want to start slow, ie carry him around in the pouch in a quiet place like your house or room that way he can get used to your movements/smell without all the noise of being around other people..then you could try talking when he is in your pouch..small steps are the key. that way he can get used to the idea one small step at time.. anyway i hope that is helpful &good luck raspberry
