I took Kiki to the vet a few weeks ago and asked that very same question. According to the wonderful people here, the vet will weigh the glider, should do a fecal exam twice a year, and can trim the nails if you need help with it. That's about it.

I was charged 40 bucks just to have her weighed and nails done, but at least her vet has a baseline of her behavior and how she looks in case something should happen in the future.

 Hope this helps!

can you imagine holding a sugar glider down while the vet tries to stick em with a needle designed for someone 3x bigger?? hehehe
Except in extreme circumstances, sugar gliders dont need shots, just a check up.

GLiders require no vaccines! Lucky us, since those vaccines get expensive with our other pets. THe only time gliders need shots is if they are sick and need a medicine shot, whether it is an antibiotic, fluids, or vitamins.
