my sugar glider mommy has been showing lumps in her pouch for quite some time now..and i just saw a foot sticking out the other day! my question is, do you guys think it would still be ok to carry her around with me in my pouch durring the day? she is moderatly used to it..she sleeps most of the time but will crab if anyone talks too loud around me or if i get up to fast. I really dont want to distrupt our bonding process but she is also a young (and first time) mommy and i dont want to put any undue stress on her that would make her more likely to eat the babies. frown

Do you carry dad as well? IF so, I think you should continue to carry them both. You could carry her without him if it does not stress her out. I had one pair that did quite well with me carrying just the female, but I have another pair who gets obiously stressed if I seperate them.

i have allways carried both together..my worry is that they are as i said moderatly comfortable being carried around but i'm sure that it is more relaxing and quiet in the cage pouch..but on the other hand i want to continue bonding with them...
