I have an adult male and a 4 month old male. Every time the baby comes around, the big one chatters his teeth. that is one sound I can't find any research on. What does it mean- anyone?

That's a happy sound! In my experience it's a "oh there you are, I was looking for you, I'm happy to see you" sound.

I agree with Dawn. Mine also do this when greeting me.
It's a very sweet sound ... one I always expect when they first wake up and see me.

Chattering is a sound gliders make as a greeting. It is a happy sound, and if your glider makes it to you, that means that he or she is happy to see you. The link listed at the bottom is a great source for glider sounds and explains what each one means. I hope this helps.
