I suggest you read at least the entire message board here for the month of November and then you'll have a good idea if you can handle it. I would say a puppy will be just as much "trouble" smile the first year as a glider, but then will be easier to keep. One thing that I have found that no-one really talks about here much is that you have to be very diligent in washing down the cage, throwing away the newspaper under the cage and taking out their food EVERY DAY. I had to buy a blender to make their Leadbeater's with, but hey I needed one anywayAlso, I am getting a bit sleep deprived but have so far been able to manage. I must say it has been loads of FUN! wink smile

Hey, I'm new to this gossip page! I kind of co-own Dobby and Winky (Debbie is my mom). Anyway, if you are sure that you want a glider and can handle all the responsibility of it, you can check the CLASSIFIED section of the newspaper. That is how we got our gliders. Good Luck! smile

Everyone here LOVES gliders and no one wants you to have one unless you are going to be totally responsible for its care. We don't like seeing animals being malnourished, abused, not cared for properly - it hurts. Perhaps, I have no right to speak for other. In fact, I'm sure I don't - I'm new here.
