When I was younger I got a pair of sugar gliders, Cinnamon and Scatter. They soon became my babies and they were my world. And after ten years one of my babies died. Scatter, even though he wasn't always friendly with people, was my baby that I loved. When I went to feed the two one night I found him sleeping in his favorite bedded birdhouse. He passed away in his sleep with his cage mate next him. I'm not sure why I'm putting this up, but I feel that I needed to acknowledge his life and passing; or I'm going to break down and not move on.

I hope it was quick and painless, but like my cat i had when i was little they don't always... she had herpes in her eye and we took both of them but it was too late.. she came outside to see us then she just laid there, still. I just hate that common cuddly animals don't last long... even 10 to 15 years isn't enough...
