I am trying to find a Magic Bullet (blender). Walgreens sold them around Christmas time, but they no longer carry them. Does anyone know of any other store that might have them? I went to the Magic Bullet web site and there are no stores listed. I have found some on e-bay, but would rather just purchase one at a store if possible. And why do I want a Magic Bullet???? For glider meals, of course!!! Thanks! |

Ive been using the Magic bullet Blender almost every night for glider dinners. Tonight, I fixed them a scrambled egg by putting a med sized egg in the small bullet - blending it really well - then took the bullet and put it in the microwave. After the egg was done, I took the same bullet I fised the egg in and made them a veggie relish. I also made them a fresh fruit smoothie by using melons. I made enough for 3 nights and poured out tonights serving in their bowl - and stored the rest in the bullet in the refrigerator. I love this little contraption almost as much as I love my POWERWASHER!!! |

Rita, I recommend this one which I use nightly. I dont do the ice cube freezing thing for my blends. I also do not recommend the magic bullet because you cannot add things to it easily. If your mix needs a little more water or something else, you have to tilt the whole thing over and then unscrew the lid and .... Its a mess. This is the one that I use. I like it because it has an open top lid so you can add in more items or liquids in as needed to blend. I dont care for the turn-upside-down types as it's a pain to add more stuff.
Kaz I want to thank you for posting that video of how you fix their food. I have always done alot of chopping and all to fix their food and let me tell you... they just didn't seem to be eating like I thought they should lately. I bought one of those lil blenders like you have Kaz and fixed the dinner with it last night... They ate every bit of it. I almost thought I might have given them too much last night but OMG when I saw their dish this morning it was dang near licked clean. I think they definately like the blended soupy food over the chopped food. So thanks so much! I appreciate you more than you know! |

Well - I just won the Magic Bullet Blender/juicer set on e-bay. Guess Jim and Jess will get the parts I have already purchased. But the blender/juicer attachment is MINE!!!! |

I'm having a bidding war on e-bay for a Magic Bullet that has the blender/juicer attachment. If I should win it, I will give the one I just purchased to Jim and Jess for making babyfood - in the near future! |
Goddessbaby Posted - May 12 2009 : 10:20:01 PM
I have "the original" so it has two sizes, a juicer and cups! you just unscrew their rims, attach the little blender part, blend and then put the rim back on, then theres only one dirty dish [besides the blendy doodad] |

I used it today for the first time, too. I LOVE IT!!! Its so much easier to clean than the blender I have. My blender is at least 20 years old and had been a very good one - but its time has come... Now - I want the blender/juicer attachment for the Magic Bullet. I found one on e-bay that Im currently bidding on! |

we actually had two in storage that my mom got off HSN and after reading this thread, I decided to stop chastising her about it and put it to some use. last night was the first night and I loved it! we have some sort of fancy blender but its so big that it doesnt get the little veggies too well. I have the magic bullet with the juicer attachment but Ijust use the small cup. its awesome, its the only way my suggies will eat their veggies. |

Funny that is what I thought you wanted it for...so when the little ones are older grandma could blend them some goodies.....myself I love GERBER..it was good enough for my kids 30 odd years ago so it was ok for the grandbabies...but they do love smoothies made in mema's blender now that they are older.....damn the time flew bye....seems like just the other day they were nursing.... Take care you zippy grandma...... |

The Slap Chop is really very cool! I had never heard of it either. I bid on another Magic Bullet that has the blender attachment, another motor and blade plus the blender cups for $16.50. If I win it, I can give it to Jim and Jess. He is a wonderful cook so I KNOW he will be making homemade baby food for them when the time comes. |

I found a Magie Bulle BLENDER at Bed, Bath and Beyond. But its not the one with the blender I went ahead and got it because I was afraid I wouldnt find it anywhere else. Guess you can buy the blender attachment separately somewhere?? I can already tell it doesnt have the OOOMPH of a real blender... But there are many things about it I really like!!! |
