Ok so last night, i got home from a clients house after working on their computer for the evening. When i got home, my cat snickers who is only a few months old, came to greet me at the door. I placed my dinner bag on the table where we had a candle lit. Dont worry, the candle was on the other end of the table... Well snickers is literally upsessed with plastic bags, and decided that he wanted to play with this one bag.... Well he jumped up on the table and attatcked the bag...little did he know that the candle was right by his but.....needless to say, he got a bit of his back end furr burnt off!!! So yes, tehre was a cat on my dinner table, on fire lol!!!!
He is compeltely fine dont worry. Just lost a little bit of hair lol!
Had to give him a bath to try to get that nasty burn hair smell out....YUCK!
But i presonally think that Siamese cats, which is what Snickers is, are attracted to flames or fire... My other siamese cat Chong, got his nose burnt by a candle a few years ago. He smelled something good, that happened to be the candle, and got a little too close and burn his little nosie lol!

lol i have two cats a cat and a kitten and they hate each other but dont get violent well the kitten is really mean too the older cat she takes all the older cats toy mice and hides them under this big trunk like thing that she can squeez under but my big cat cant.. its soo mean lol and she sleeps on top of the fish tank |

One of our cats (years ago, no longer with us) used to jump on the kitchen island. She was a very thick furred calico. She decided, one night, to lay down RIGHT NEXT to a burner of the gas stove on the cooktop of the island...the burner was on. Needless to say, her back fur got burnt! She was fine, and I have to think that she was wondering why we put that towel over her and began beating on her back like that...there were little flames! :-o It took a day to get that stink out of the house. |

Now that was funny. you want a good laugh own a cat lol. I have one name Littleman and he is so funny too. We even have a cat that adopted us. We don't know who his owners are but we thinking they left him when they moved out of the trailer court whare we live. So he stays around our house now. My kids named him Snow Ball but Snow for short. He was already litter box trained when he showed up. So you can say he became part of our family right away. They say animals pick you and he picked us. |

I have the nosiest cat there is. She HAS to investigate everything I do. Very funny. I have had many cats that have gotten singed (SP) by a candle once - then they learn. Crazy critters! |

AWWWW lol cats are just cheap entertainment I tell ya..lol Not that a cat on fire is entertainment but... lmao well you know what i mean..hehe |
