SO::::: I am desperately searching for ANYONE ( cable guy, tree trimmer, fire man, electric company guy/girl, ) who would be willing to try and get her down! It is a high power pole that is about 35 ft up and there are high powered cables etc.... Its a POWER pole not a light pole. But I am desperate!!! PLEASE come help my kitty!! If you agree to come I can call press for you if you want to be a hero, i can call press for you and get your company name out there!!! PLEASE THERE HAS TO BE SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO HELP SAVE MY CAT!!!!!
My address is 1730 southmoor dr fountain co 80817 and my number is 244-6425 please call or just come! I will change the add to saved if someone comes and gets her down!!!!! My name is Bridgette and my cat is Little Girl and we are very hopeful someone will come help.
THANK YOU FOR READING AND PLEASE PASS ALONG TO ANYONE YOU KNOW MAY HELP!!!! "
I figured I would go see if I could help out. When I got there the utilities workers were already up the pole with their fiberglass polls trying to get the cat to jump down :( .I always have a few nets in my truck (not for geese ) and I asked them if they wanted to use my nets...... the high 5 at the end was pretty neat...

That is awesome. I cried when I saw her get down. That's great when people can come together and bring a happy ending.

Thank you, Catman! Amazing story. It's incredible how very comfortable and relaxed those guys look, leaning back on their harnesses ... I'm glad your not-for-geese net came in handy.

AAWWWW I'm so glad someone finally went to save the kitty!!! Poor thing must have been terrified! And I can't imagine how it's human mommy felt. Knowing her poor kitty had been up there for 4 days without food/water/shelter. Thank goodness they got the kitty down safely.
I am so nervous to let my two kitties be indoor/outdoor kitties for this reason (and many more reasons). So they stay INSIDE...although they are always trying to sneak out under my feet.
Thanks for sharing this story! I love happy endings.
