Saint Paddy's day is coming!


I am a young glider named Gizzy,
I live with my best buddy Izzy.
We glide round the room,
we leap and we zoom,
until our poor owner gets dizzy.

I can't wait to get me a worm!
I love how they wiggle and squirm.
Bite in with a crunch!
I'd eat me a bunch
but five is my limit -- that's firm.

We all love to run on the wheel!
It's great entertainment, we feel.
I jump over my brother,
father and mother;
and they jump over me -- that's the deal.





My mate is a glider so fair!
I do think we make quite a pair.
We're expecting a joey,
we think it's a boy!
We'll raise him with love and with care.





I love love love love love my honey!
I don't care if it's thick or runny.
Delicious and sweet,
my favorite treat!
(I'm sure glad that I'm not a bunny.)





When I was a joey, you see,
I met up with a bumblebee.
It stung my face twice!
I couldn't find ice,
and that's why my nose looks like it's three.

Come on, y'all, limericks are easy! If you think of the first line, then the rest of it just follows.


A sweet little girl named Marie
pretends that her owner's a tree.
She'll jump on his face
and leap into space,
then come back and sit on his knee.
