Hey there and welcome! It sounds like you may be currently giving your baby a diet that is mostly a pelleted food with some fruits and veggies in addition. If this is the case, you will want to do some research and look through some different diets, pelleted diets (although recommended by many large sellers and pet stores) are not actually the best choice for your little one. If he is young, and especially if he is new to you, it's not unusual for him to be picky while you are both figuring everything out. Gliders are a lot like young kids, they will often pick something that is their favorite and ignore other things that are good for them, which is why it is important to offer variety. If you hit the gliderpedia tab at the top of the page, you can scroll down to diet, and take a look at some of the commonly offered plans. They should all consist of about 50% protein staple, 25% fruit, and 25% veggies. Another thing that most people don't know to look for with veggies, is to look and see if he has eaten the INSIDES out. Gliders often eat this way and leave the outer shell so it can appear that nothing is missing on first inspection. Take a look at some of the diets and come ask questions as they come up. There are several people on here with lots of diet experience and will be happy to help you make the best choices. |
