Here is the updated version of my poll-thank you for the help kyro!

If you had to tell ONE item below to a new owner (like one that bought from a mill breeder etc) what would it be? I know they are all importatnt, but I would like to know the general census if any are particular. Please only choose 1.

I can't seem to add more so here are other options:

• Quaratine and Introductions

• Please don't breed unless have lineage

• Neuter males (not available with females)

• Take to exotic vet ASAP

• Not really for kids

• Other (Please explain but don't say "all of the above")

They are colony animals, the importance of having more than one.

Diet.

Other: Noisy, bark loudly all night long, will eventually drive you crazy.

"Other" - their diet! I've had to explain this more than anything else to new owners.

I don't think you can pick any one thing, that's why I wrote a book. LOL

I can't seem to vote for the Numbered statements or add an other. To me, safety (that includes cage, what is in it, diet and bonding) should all be the number one thing to explain to a new owner in a kind, open, caring and nurturing way! Deeming someone or making them feel guilty leads to many pets simply put into shelters or on something like Craigslist just because they are made to feel over whelmed and it just seems like too much even for such a cute little thing like a glider that may have been the ONLY reason the person bought them. But, that can change and the owner can love that baby regardless of where they got them for what they are not simply how cute they look. Just my 2 cents!
