My husband and I live in south florida and have a 8 year old dog and a kitten and the first pets we ever adopted together were our sugar gliders. They have been with us for 9 years and they were 3 when we adopted them from people who could not properly care for them. They had purchased two-a bonded pair named Sophie and Emily and someone left their glider with them and never returned for her. She is really a joyful little creature and we changed her name a few times but usually lovingly call her "Fattie" she's not as rotund as she once was and I so want her to live in a new colony. It's not right for her to live alone now that Emily and Sophie have passed away. My heart is broken for her. Please email me if you can adopt her. Thanks for reading. I am not selling her I want to save her and let her finish her life as happy as she has been.

Where in south fla ? I'm up by Tampa but have a ton of connections here in fla. I know a breeder that does rescue down by Miami who could maybe take her and pair her up, she is very reputable in the glider community and used to have a rescue in Tennessee. There is also a glider rescue in Cape Coral but she isn't currently open to accept surrenders.

https://www.facebook.com/beckyssugarbabies/?fref=ts This is Becky's business page she is the one in south fla. She only breeds her lineaged gliders, any surrenders she takes in are not bred and if paired with a male the male will be neutered prior to any introductions.
