Hello,
In January my female (born October 2015) started making strange noises one night. It sounded like a mix of crabbing, barking, and wheezing and was almost continuous throughout the entire night. Her activity was normal aside from pausing mid activity to make the noises for a few seconds and then carrying on like normal. We took her to the vet the next morning and nothing was found to be abnormal on physical exam. We took her home and there were no more of the noises until a month later when the exact same thing happened and again this weekend.
Has anyone else had this happen? Due to the frequency and return to normal behavior and no signs of illness (and consultation with her vet) I believe it is her heat cycle.

I agree. That's pretty much what my girls sound like for two days per month. One of them gets really dominating, too, just FYI.
