Have you built a playground for your glider ?


Hello,

I am new here and I am trying to find information to build a playground for my gliders.

I would like that they exercise more when not in the cage.

Also I am wondering if these metallic cages are not dangerous for their feet ? Should I put a carpet at least at the bottom of the cage ?

I didn't build a playground per say, but I did create a rooftop playground on top of their cage. That's where they get their out of cage time. (I've been neglecting out of cage play this week because my mom has been sick and needs continuous care since coming home from hospital. When in hospital I spent my time being all over the place between there and work).

Anyway, I used the top of cage to store some of their accessories, they always wanted to go up there during out of cage play, so I decided to reorganize it. I set it up so they can play up there. Since photo bucket got stingy on sharing, I don't do to much photo posting on the forums. I did make YouTube vids on some of my cage designs (setups), including the rooftop playground. I made a glider safe playroom. but the door stinks.
and now we had to put in a pool table. so im building a PVC door, just need to
finish up one modification and glue. then I will have a nice door.
Plus we are adding velco to the wall, so we can lift up and let the kids play pool when not using the glider room.

I have not built a playground as my place is not glider proof.

I do not have anything on my cage bottom and haven't had any issues.
