If you had to tell ONE item below to a new owner (like one that bought from a mill breeder etc) what would it be? I know they are all importatnt, but I would like to know the general census if any are particular. Please only choose 1.

  • Cage size

  • No Pellets

  • Buddy System

  • No Heat Rocks

  • Fleece pouch not socks or shirts

  • Cage Materials

  • Nocturnal

  • Do not bathe

  • Do not file teeth

  • Keep away from other pets

  • Quaratine and Introductions

  • Please don't breed unless have lineage

  • Neuter males (not available with females)

  • Take to exotic vet ASAP

  • Not really for kids

  • Other (Please explain but don't say "all of the above")

You might want to try it in this format too:

http://www.sugarglider.com/glidergossip/post.asp?poll=1&method=Topic&FORUM_ID=26

That way, people can vote that don't want to also comment.

I meant something along the lines of what's the first thing you tell them?

I don't think I can participate in this poll because by choosing one, I feel like it would be saying the others are unimportant. "All of the above" and then some would be my answer.

PERHAPS my answer would be to be patient and do one's research and go to Glider Gossip & Gliderpedia for answers.

OR perhaps question everything a mill breeder has told you and see if it sounds like their reasons are influenced by money (aka being cheap or trying to make a quick buck) or inspired by a need for healthy gliders.

OR perhaps to just be patient and not get overwhelmed. Take one day at a time.
