I bought some fleece scraps and one of them is a sort of fuzzy material like this-

Is this safe to give my glider?

nail trims and anti pill fleece are the first preference but if your not great at nail trimming yet you can go a different route until you can trim better.

Coconut shells make great sleep spots they can't get nails stuck in also great if your gliders dig and chew holes in fleece.... food safe Plastic containers like cool whip containers work too.

I would avoid leather though as much as I love it myself it's really not a good option for gliders, it's hot, and usually chemically treated.

as far as I understand it, anti pill fleece has the tightest threads, so it is
most difficult for them to get stuck.
we cut nails about 1 once per month. but probably could do it every two weeks
to keep them from getting stuck. their nails seem to get sharp after about 2 weeks.
or some use a coconut as a sleeping area.

so that is the best I got, cut those nails.

I been thinking of getting a file, and while I sit with them try to file the
sharp tips down some, see if this helps with getting stuck in between cuts.

Can anybody give me a safe alternative to fleece? Our littlest girl, out of three, is always getting caught, even on our fleece pouches. We've taken all fleece out for now, and I'm hoping there's something else I can use. I've heard velboa might be an option. I am also wondering if soft leather might be an option. Thanks.

I wouldn't use it because it looks like something they could suffocate in on accident, but I'm honestly not sure. I don't use anything but fleece.

Nope. That's not fleece, not safe. Only fleece is safe, because it is breathable, doesn't ravel and has no threads or loops hanging from it. IMHO

I think so as it doesn't look like they can get their claws stuck or anything. It's similar to some material I have as well...
