So I got my sugar glider Ava a week and a day ago. From the begging she would let me hold and pet her with no crabbing or anything. But this morning she has started to nip or bite me out of no where. She climbs on my hand and starts doing it like I said she comes to me I don't try to pick her up and she does it. She also is attaching her pouch to. Please let me know if this is normal and why she started to do it so randomly and what I should do she is also 9weeks old. Thank you!!

i don't understand everything in your post, but

maybe
1. she smelled food on your hands and wanted a taste of it.
2. some of our gliders bite or rub their teeth on our skin, they are marking us as part of their property. so I have been told.
3. 8 days is a very short time to figure out what is normal for your very young baby.
4. I had scent from a glider of a different colony, I went to another colony and GUS a very sweet and gentle glider sniffed me and had a spaz attack, ran all over my arms and nipped at me. maybe you had dog or cat scent on you.
