How do you get your sugar gliders to willingly crawl on to your hands? My sugar glider doesn’t mind being handled but she wouldn’t crawl on my hands just because she wants to.

I start with putting my hand or arm in the way for a treat, making them step on
my arm to get the treat.
Then I progress over time to making him get all 4 feet on my arm or hand to get the treat.
Then finally they will just jump on you for treat time. Once Link had about 1 hour to wake up, he would run around cage following me, waiting for me to open the door so he could get on me for a ride to kitchen for a live mealworm treat.

NOTE: other bonding things should also be going on, like hand in pouch or glider in bonding pouch. Scented fleece in pouch. PLUS, every glider is
different, will take different amount of time and work. I have one glider that
will do most of what is needed to get a treat, but then will run off and hide to eat it. she is so stubborn that I just let her do her thing, and I play with the other 5.

Our gliders will do almost anything for a LIVE mealworm.
