Hi this is the first time my sugar glider have birth to two joeys. They are 2 weeks old and still hairless.

My question is, how to know if the joeys are rejected? Is it normal for the mom to leave them oop behind while she go play around or eat some food and go back to her joeys and tuck them in back into her pouch. Or is it rejected?

Help a friend here. Thank you

Hello. The mother do not necessarilly carry their joeys with them when they go eat or plaay, they usually leave them in their sleeping pouch / nest (with the father or another adult if possible), that's nothing to worry about.
What would be worrying would be if she was sleeping in another sleeping pouch while leaving her joeys behind, or if she weren't coming back to the joeys when they are crying.
