Three questions:
1. Thor has a small, pea sized spot on his "shoulder" that is hairless and rough, like crust. Does not look infected. Does not look yellow or scabby. Any ideas?

2. His cagemate Clare died two weeks ago(cancer). He still has one other cagemate, Gimli, but they do squabble a tiny bit. I do think Thor liked Clare more. Thor just doesn't seem himself. Could he be depressed over Clare even though he still has Gimli?

3. Could #1 and #2 be related?

Thanks.

Thank you.

For future glider owner searches on this site-

The vet believes he had cutaneous lymphoma.

Started with a dry bald patch on his shoulder (that's why I originally brought him to the vet).
Then turned into an open sore.
Lost the hair on his face.
Patches of red bumps, with yellow crust on face and back.
Then more open sores.
And finally slimy, yucky belly.

Antibiotics had no effect: baytril and metronidazole
Steroid had no effect.

Went from the dry patch to death in about 21 days.
