 Last night I fed both my gliders, Dundee and Delilah and went to bed as usual.
After supper today, I had a couple pieces of chicken cut up for them as a snack before their late nigh supper.
Dundee was ready as usual, but Delilah wasn't. I called her name and she still didn't respond. I felt all over in her bedding and located her in the sewed up cuff of an old pants leg. Took me several minutes looking for the entrance and was about to cut into them when I saw part of her tail. I said a little prayer for her to be OK, but I knew.
I believe she found the hole and forced her way into it, and it being so tight she couldn't breath or make any noises. I never heard a sound and it breaks my heart!
I just wanted to let others know about this so it will not happen to them.
I'd say she had a good 9 years though!!!
