New to this, I just got my baby, in June. He is only a few months old. I started the TPG diet. But I also thought they needed a salad as well. So I made the CritterLove salad 1 and salad 3. I wanted to give him a variety of fruits and veggies so made different salads. Now I have people telling me that is two different diets. If I am giving him the TPG diet staple, he doesn’t need the salad and I shouldn’t give it to him bc it supposed to mess with their balanced diet. #129335;#127996;#8205;#9792;#65039; Should I not give him the staple with a salad too? I also blended up the fruits and veggies in the TPG instead of processing or chopping. I was told I shouldn’t have done that either. Help!!!! Can anyone offer advice with this. Is it okay to blend all the fruits and veggies in the staple? Can they have a salad and the TPG staple? I don’t see why he can’t have both.
Thank you in advance…

Thank you so much. Yes it is The TPG with the TPG vitamins. We just didn’t know at the time. We thought they needed a salad on the side as well as the TPG diet. I just followed the recipe with what veggies and fruits to use on the CritterLove. Not using anything else but just the fruits and veggies that’s in the diet. But we stopped doing that and just use the TPG but we will use up all the fruits and veggies up that we have since they can have them.
Thank you
Amanda

Welcome to the Forum!
The TPG diet is a complete diet and doesnt need to be fed with the salads. I used to feed TPG. Just to be clear, for TPG you're using the recipe from the TPG site with the TPG vitamin, correct?
The critter love salads are for a completely different diet - either the Critter love diet or OHPW.
So no, either feed TPG alone or feed one of the othet diets that use the CritterLove salads. #128513; It will mess up the nutritional balance if your glider is fed both of the diets combined.
For TPG, yes, the fruits and veggies can be combined in one. I wouldnt recommend blending them (instead of cutting in small pieces). I used to do that and it ended up causing serious problems in one of my girls because it forces them to eat fibers that tbeir bodies can't process.
Good luck! Any questions you have, feel free to ask! #128513;
