I had my 11 week old male neutered yesterday. I had my older male neutered a few months ago (his dad, lol) and I had an e-jacket for him. Worked amazingly well.
Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of a cross-state move right now and didn't order an e-jacket joey sized in time. So he's in a cone. Long story short, he's having a lot of trouble eating and drinking on his own. I have to help him with both many times a night.
The vet said to keep the collar on for 10 days. TEN DAYS, you guys, I am going to be exhausted if I have to get up every 45 minutes a night for the next ten days.

Long story short: How long do you recommend keeping the collar on? And how can I help the baby to eat and drink on his own? I tried shallow dishes, but he can't get to them with the collar.
