So I thought that the colors of these gliders was a diet issue, but then I really got looking at them with one that is definitely a standard gray and there is a marked difference.
Let me know what you think.

I've seen gliders that color before, close to the color of my butter cream female too! So pretty.

The color will probably change when they are given a better diet but I have heard cinnamons, lions, brown beauties and butter-creams range in the tan colors.

After you get them started on a good diet for a few months you should post another picture.

I don't think it is diet because there are grays and cinnamons. They are all different ages from about 12 weeks to about 4 years and they were all on the same diet. They are truly that red/brown color...their tails are VERY light red. Until I saw the grays and the cinnamons together I thought it was diet too but they aren't brown or yellow on their bellies.

I actually re-homed a few girls that were on a good diet and the looked nice, once I started them on my food they turned from a brown grey to a coal silver. I'm just saying I would wait to classify their colors until after they have been eating a new diet for a while.

To me the grey next to the tan one looks slightly stained and the chest of the tan one seems stained as well.

Anyway I vote Lion if she/he is a color lol

It's so hard to tell in photos! To me, they look like the Buttercream in the Glider craze photos. I don't know! It doesn't really matter. I guess that I'll find out when they have been on a decent diet for a while. I just wish that they weren't so freaked out. They are seriously upset and just won't even go into the pouches. It's like they don't even know what the pouch is.

I bet they don't know what a pouch is, you can see how they are so unsure of you in the photos :[

Your right, regardless of her/his color they are all gorgeous.

I didn't really give their story. I have a running ad on Craigs List that says that I will help people with their gliders...diet, taming, general questions and rehoming. I got a call from a woman a couple of days ago asking if I wold buy her 12 gliders. I told her no I don't buy and she said OK and I figured I wouldn't hear from her again. Then yesterday morning she called crying saying that she and her boyfriend got into a fight and he kicked her out and she had her gliders with her and had to rehome them right now. I was at a birthday party with one of my kids and couldn't go right that moment but she was in her car at a rest stop and had them in shoe boxes. So I called my amazing, wonderful husband and asked him to drive 45 minutes each way and go get these guys and he dropped everything and went and got them. So I got home from the birthday party and had to set up 3 cages and transfer 12 gliders and move my gliders cages so we had a quarantine.
When I got up this morning they had eaten every bit of their food and basically licked the plates clean. They were all in pouches this morning, too. So hopefully they are settling in.

If it is truly their colors, they are cinnamon not lion. Very pretty!

Feed your diet for a couple months and take pictures again. I've seen people sell gliders a cinnamon because they were a certain color at their house on their diet, but the gliders changed to grey a few months later.

The thing is that I would assume if it was a diet thing that they would all be that color...they aren't. The one is obviously a gray and the other one is a definite different color. I'm not sure that they ARE cinnamon, but it just seems reasonable that they would all be the same color if they were colored because of diet.
