Sorry if this seems like a silly question. I was just thinking about when I get Bella out of the cage to play with Gremlin dosen't always come out to play. I leave the door open so he can come out whenever he wants. To play with my and Bell that is but some days he just rather stay in the cage and watch us. Is this bad or do I have a lazy glider on my hands? Bell just loves to come out of the cage and hide with my stuffed animals and in my jackets. We like to play hide and seek a lot lol. Oh and a quick update on her. Her pouch is getting bigger(she is pregant) so I am looking forward to for when Bella and Gremlins little baby comes into the world!!!!

My boys usually like it, but sometimes they don't seem to be in the mood. Sunday morning we had tent time from about 4:00 to 6:15, and they weren't really ready to stop. Monday morning they only played about thirty minutes, then into the pouch they went and started crabbing -- my cue to put them away. And some don't seem to like it much at all. You may remember a post Kyro made a little while ago about her little guy Zoom: http://www.sugarglider.com/glidergossip/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26407 I really wouldn't worry about it, he'll come out when he's ready.

Ok thanks. It was starting to worry me cause I like it when I play with both of them at the same time but I think Gremlin would much rather just watch me and bella play hide and seek. Lol.

a few weeks ago my boys started going in their cage more and playing on their wheel or with their straws or just eating. i just had some relatives stay at our house and i showed them my gliders for the first time. my boys enjoyed having new people to explore and play with. now they are back to their old selves they climb on the shelves i really dont want them on, jump on my masks on the wall and are just more playful. i think they were just getting tired of me and everything. maybe yours just feels like being in the cage or maybe he thinks its not worth coming out. get some new stuff for them to play with or change something so it gets his attention.

Yes they do. When they are awake and anybody goes by the cage they jump to the sides and look like they are saying take us out. If I open the door out they jump, ready to play/explore. Once out sometimes it's hard to get four back in the cage. While putting on in two get out and so forth. I use a trick give them yoggies as it put them in, keeps them busy.
