update on gender mistake made by vet and previous owner

how this all began. i rescued a male sugar glider. knowing i needed a female friend for him someone contacted me saying they had what i was looking for. they brought me my female. a few days after having the female and after the vet looked at her.. i noticed something very odd about her pouch... there was none. i had infact recieved a neutered male. my mistake... assuming the person i had gotten him from was smart enough to check it themselves... i thought nothing of it. i contacted them saying they had sold me a male. whether it was intentional or not... i either wanted my money back or to switch gliders. she got back to me.. appologized for the mistake and offered to take the male back and g ive me the female that i was expecting. so sunday around 1pm(hopefully) i will have my female sugar glider and this sweet little guy that i have will go back to his original owner.
on a personal note: check gender and get as much information on the suger gliders before you make the adoption final. the lady told me that she had gotten the gliders from another person who gave the gliders to her and had paid for the gliders with other animals and money. why are people like that. lesson learned.
