Hope for Gliders 3rd Annual Memorial Serivce and Candle Lighting 2008 October 18
Hope for Gliders will be having its 3rd Annual Memorial Service and Candle lighting to pay respect for our lost gliders. The event will be on Saturday Oct.18th at 7 PM. in Grand Prairie, TX. The service will include the Reading of the Rainbow Bridge Poem, Hanging of the Bells when each glider's name is announced and Lighting of the candles. After the service we will be going to Denny's for dinner as a group. We will have group discussion on glider issues during this time.
If you would like to have your glider honored in memory we will place your gliders name on one of our bells and will light a candle in memory during the service. Memorial Bells remain on our Rainbow Bridge Tree here at Hope for Gliders. We will also place your gliders name in our program. We do ask for a $5.00 donation to help us provide needed vet care for the many gliders we save though rescue. Donations can be made by paypal to hopeforgliders@yahoo.com or by mail. We must have this done by no later than Oct. 11th in order for the bells to be made and the program printed. I will mail a copy of the program to anyone who wishes to include their gliders in the service and is unable to attend in person.
