We had Sassy out for a lil bit of play time. She started climbing all over my boyfriend. She went up and bit his goti (sp?) then went and bit his ear. Does this mean anything?

She's tasting him, not to decide if he's good to eat (!) but to familiarize herself with his taste and scent. It's an affectionate act. They will nibble, lick, or scrape their teeth on your skin. Now if she starts biting for real, whoever's being bitten needs to make a loud PSSST! noise which will usually get her to stop. That tends to be (at least at first, with a well-treated animal) a test of how much they can get away with.

I've had my two girls for just over a month, and the biting has def become less frequent, and now they lightly scrape their teeth instead sinking them in. The psst thing def works, it just wasn't instant for me. They would bite, I would psst, which would make them back off, only to come back a second later and bite again. I agree that at first they seem to test you. Be patient and persistent.

lol. mine has never bit me. she didnt have much bonding done with the breeder b4 though so i was surprised. when i got her she was 8 wks oop and all she did was when i tried to pick her up she would just crab. she likes to sleep in socks. the breeder gave her to us in one kinda like a bonding pouch. and she sleeps in it. i tied the sock as told(she could breath still lol) and held her at first she didnt notice (b/c she was asleep) and then man did she crab when she woke up. lol
