My sugar glider has never bit me. but since she hasnt i want to know if a general bite hurts? not the really mad biting the hard ones, but just a bite when you are getting to know them.(general bite)

My glider's don't bite me unless my hands smell like food, but they've never drwan blood from that. When mine bite, (it's more just a nibble) it's really just a pinch, and doesn't hurt for more than 10 seconds.

My glider's try to bite others as well! (luckily though, they're tries have failed!)
I don't know what others think, but it seems to me glider's can only really bond to one person! (and then bond a little bit with others!)

Not to be off subject, but is the glider in your picture, (the white one) yours? White glider's are so pretty! I wish they weren't as rare as they are!

Back to biting. mine bite/nip/taste what ever you want to call it. I mess with mine I get my hands all wet and then they come and lick and bite my hands. It's like they like it. If I give them meal worms they know what hand it is in and try to bite or open my finger looking for the worm. So I would say when they do that they are not being scared or mean just normal. Now when they bite and draw blood another story. I would say gliders can bond to who ever holds them. When I go to bed once in a while my sons will take the gliders out and play with them, feed them treats, ect. When I have them out they will jump to any member of my family. I would say the more people that interact with them the more they will bond or get use to everybody.
