Hey all.

I put a post earlier about how tired they always seemed to be. Recently we built the PVC cage from Just for Fuzzies.com and let me tell you i am pretty sure they love it. They are always running in their wheel now, and up all night. I have noticed they are eating more also; my assumption, the more activity means more food for them. So I am happy to report that.

I know bonding can take several weeks to month. We try to handle them daily and they will let us hold them when we do. The female loves my husband and will let him pet her stomach. They both like Hooded sweatshirts and the pockets on them. I feel that we are making progress.

They don't respond to their names yet or come when called. Will it be better or easier to bond with the bigger space? If they are happier will I see more reaction out of them? I don't like prying them out of their pouch I would much rather have them come to me.

Is there any kind of toys i should avoid or anything that they prefer to play with? We put up a couple link chains, their wheel and their pouch in there and i still have tons of space!!!!

Thanks everyone.

Mine don't respond to their names either. A bigger space means more room to play and more room to explore. You should check out the pictures of cages in the member albums. That should give you some ideas.

Barrel of monkeys is a must have. Straws, baby links, rattles, some types of bird toys, plastic vines. Most baby toys are glider safe.

I'm getting some coconut shells here in a bit and will be making toys out of those. So you can always make your own.
Coconut shells, baby toys, etc, and tying them with fleece braided ropes= FUN.

I've never heard of a glider responding to their name, but it's still nice to name them. XD
