I was surfing through a few sites and found a place that breeds gliders. Don't remember which site now what it was.

Anyway, the people are selling the breeding gliders and they are telling people that the breeding gliders were not handled much due to the breeding. From what I understand the female is going to one home and the male to another.

This has me confused to say the least. Shouldn't they get as much attention as a non breeding glider? I would certainly think so.

I've been thinking about this all afternoon. Why wouldn't people handle gliders that breed? I mean is it wrong? I know to keep my little paws off the joeys until mom and dad say ok. Then again I don't have breeding gliders.

There is no reason that mom and dad shouldn't have been handled much... breeding gliders should receive the same attention as pet only gliders.

Thank you, I thought sounded a tad bit odd. I just wanted to make sure I was thinking right. That is, unless I pulled you to the darkside WinterSong. We have candy LOL

bossladytaylor, it's not completely fair to say that this is true of breeders. GOOD breeders do take the time to bond with their gliders. I know quite a few breeders who treat their gliders as pets first.

Bad breeders, of course, do exist.. but let us not tie the good breeders in with them. Good breeders DO exist.
