I've had my girls for almost 4 weeks now (: and a few new questions/concerns have come up since I got them.

1. I've had them on the BML diet since i got them, but now that my batch is finally running low I was wondering if there was any better diets I should try.

2. Aurora is still shy and not very sociable. It doesn't worry me necessarily, but I haven't been able to hold her outside of her pouch once. I know it's only been a month so I'm not pushing it yet, I don't want to lose her trust, but is there any tricks that work to stop her from biting? Luna is doing great, never bitten me before and plays around all the time, so I have no worries with her progress.

3. Are reptariums safe? A few of my friends have nylon mesh reptariums for their gliders, I've yet to see any harm come from them but I've heard that they're unsafe because nails get stuck in the material.

And lastly, 4. What plants are safe for them? I want to make a natural habitat with vines and whatnot sometime.

You don't need to answer all of the questions, just just help with whatever you can would be amazing! Thank you (:

1) Everyone has their own (different) opinion of diet. You should research ALL of the diets and decide which one is best for you & your babies. There is some information here: http://www.sugarglider.com/gliderpedia/index.asp?Diet

2) Hand feeding treats and treats that she can lick off your fingers (such as yogurt) will help her get used to your hands. Carrying her with you and petting her through a bonding pouch may help also.

3) I don't know anything about reptariums but I do know that there are some members here who use them.

4) Here is a link to check plant safety:

Hope this helps!

Thank you! That link to the plant safety was perfect, exactly what I was looking for!
As for #2, I do give her a bit of yogurt almost everyday and pet her inside her cage to build trust but I suppose she's just more cautious than Luna and will take more warming up to. (:

Some people use repts exclusively, but before you decide to switch to a rept, you need to be ABSOLUTELY certain that your gliders are not chewers. Personally -- I won't use them, as even though my gliders don't chew, they very easily could.
