I was wondering if i could put 2 males and females in the cage, if the one pare is already bonded, they wouldnt try mate with the other pairs gliders would they? I can just get 2 cages but id rather have them all in one big cage so just wondering. I think all would be good but if one was pregnant then prolly remove them? I just dont get how come the other gliders would want to kill another gliders joey if they live in big colonys in the wild, and seem to still mate and get along so why would it be any different in captivity. Sorry prolly to many questions and just kinda curious about the colony part to.

You might want to have both males neutered first. If the two pairs get along, the males will both try to mate with either female when she is in heat. The two males will also be likely to over mark in the cage. They may also fight over the girls.

I have 2 neutered males and 4 females sharing a cage and a second colony of 2 neutered males and 2 females and they do fine.

You'd also need to watch out for joey stealing, "in the wild" males fight and kill over dominance and to win breeding rights for a female and in captivity the do the same. In the wild other females DO steal/kill another's joeys even in captivity breeding in trios is difficult because one female may abort another's joey by pulling it from the pouch to soon and cannibalizing it, I high only suggest that you try to make this quad with both males neutered. Yes there are successful breeding trios and quads out there but most of the time they are bonded littler mates(sisters) or Mother and daughter paired with another male.

Yes this idea is great but the likelyhood of it happening is very low, and can/will end tragically with ether one of your males dead or injured.
