so it seems she has bonded after only having them a week, she'll come to me whenever i call her and whenever i hold my hand out she'll crawl onto me and want to cuddle up to me. he has issues... he always seems cranky (crabbing when shes not) i'll hold my hand out for him to crawl on and he does but after he does he'll nip and bite me a little hard. but then still crawl around my arm. he likes to glide from my hand to the towel on the wall, then i'll hold my hand out and he'll crawl or jump back to me without hesitation and nip/bite my hand then glide back to the towel... never ending process. whats his deal? his way to show affection?

it could be a sent on your hand that he likes maybe food or a fruity perfume. Could be some type of communication. After more time he should get less nippy.

some gliders just like to nip. if he isnt trying to break the skin then he is probably just showing affection. maybe try wearing a jacket (just dont use gloves) it will give you some protection without hiding your scent from them. i always wear a coat since i get cold easily so i dont do this to protect me from the boys nails but it helps lol. when i get the boys out or they want to jump off my hand i let my sleeve hide my hand a bit.
or make a psst sound at him when he nips you to tell him that hurts. my boys will bite the back of my head when they are grooming me. it hurts but i know they arent doing it to be mean.
