...I hope it's good! It's been forever since hubby and I had a day at the movies. Gonna catch a matinee and then tonight...

TENT TIME WITH THE BABIES!!! I swear I am probably more excited about tent time than they are. Which is saying a lot because there are crickets and meal worms and treats--OH MY!

Gonna be a great date!

Ohmygosh, so good, I wanted to walk right back in and watch it again!

Did anyone read the book? I want to now that I've seen the movie. So many things I am curious about...

I have. I highly recommend them. If you're not a big reader, the audio books are on YouTube.

I LOVE to read! It's just finding the time to do so that seems to allude me. Maybe during tent time...if the kids are being sleepier than usual...Hmm...Of course, the big question is...do I want them peeing on my Nook?

I read the book before I watched the movie. I have to honestly say the movie was a let down in my opinion. When I left the theater i was disappointed. The movie was well made and i liked the actors but a couple things annoyed me.

1. shaky camera. I know they made the camera shake so much because they wanted it to be PG13 almost every fight scene I could hardly tell what was going on and the shaking alone was just very annoying.

2. Missing plot sequences. I know they couldn't include every single part from the book or it would be a 6 hour movie but I feel there is a lot of important plot peaces they could have kept but just removed any ways. Example the golden pin. It was supposed to be one of a kind and had sentimental value. Instead she just buys it from a market were there's like 20 of them just sitting around.

That's pretty much it. I know there not huge deals but to me it changed a lot. I would encourage you to read the book though its much better.

Oh, I HATED the shaky camera! I cannot wait until they get rid of this shaky camera angle fad that's going around. It gives me motion sickness every time. I actually got sick watching the Blair Witch Project (the first time I saw a shaky camera movie). How embarrassing to have to run to the bathroom to throw up at a movie theatre! I was actually on a date then.

Paranormal Activity was a movie we (unfortunately) bought and so it was great that I could pause at intervals and collect myself. It was torture to get through.

Thankfully, in the Hunger Games, the shakiness of the camera was just in the beginning and for the fight scenes. But I was still queasy and not from any sort of gore.

Definitely going to read the book. Not sure when though. If it comes down to making glider toys or reading...well, reading can wait!

LOVED the books...had a lot of late nights this past month and that is what I read to stay wake. Want to see the movie, just haven't had the free time. Once Casey is better I think we are going to treat ourselves.
