Be patient with your suggie. You can't prove they love you. The more time spent with them, they bond to you which is love. Get your suggie a cage mate do the fecals quarantine and intros to prove YOU love the suggie.

For me...
Once he/she do the barking sound.... when everything is save and secure, but they still doing it.. i think it's how they said miss you
