If you don't already have a braided fleece rope, you can easily make one yourself by clicking on this link (Best of all, there's NO SEWING INVOLVED! woohoo for those of us who are sewing-challenged!):

http://www.suzsugargliders.com/nosewbraidedrope.htm

Okay, with that said, what creative things CAN you do with a braided fleece rope?

Well...

...you can hang a wiffle ball at the end and call it good.

Or, you can clip on foraging cups, like so.

Notice these little plastic mini mugs don't even need to be drilled for this toy concept to work. All you need are those C links aka "learning links" that you can find in any School Learning Supply store.

You can also add a bracelet at the end, if you want.

Or cups, bracelet, wiffle ball AND bracelet:

And who the heck says you HAVE to hang a braid vertically, ANYWAY? Hmm?

Just throwing a few ideas out there. What do you think?

Love your ideas, thanks a bunch. I'm going to use them to spice up the vines in my girls habitat as well as the for the jungle gym I'm making them. I've braided a couple of vines today & a couple of experimental no-sew fleece items, even strung up some beads & flowers. The fleece was washed prior, but I'm waiting for the beaded flower chains to dry.

And....I've got MORE creative uses for your Braided Fleece Rope!

Take different sized blankies (you'll probably want blankies that match your fleece rope. I am purposefully NOT matching so you can see what I'm doing )

And open up your fleece rope like so...

And just start shoving pieces in!

You can take the long, thin pieces and shove them completely through...

OR you can take a piece

fold it in HALF and just partially tuck it in.

Or you can take a giant square

and tuck it in at the corner.

You could fill it up just at the end (not pictured), or at the half-way mark...

OR you can do the whole thing!

Now, my babies aren't nesters. They pretty much like the 72 degrees we keep the apartment at. But if you happen to have nesters, I'd be very interested to hear if your suggies pull out the blankies off this fleece rope to put it in their pouch!

So there you go! One more thing you can do with your braided fleece rope!

Hey, sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm looking for foraging mugs like those shown here. I've found them a bunch of places online, but since I have a lot of other supplies already and really only want to acquire mugs, the shipping charges make it almost silly... have you (or anyone reading this) found these mugs in stores anywhere? Or just online?
