Don't own a drill & don't have any Rexlace/Craftlace? Not a problem. If you've got some C-link clips, you can do quite a lot.

Need ideas? See what you can do in no time flat:

(Note* I did use a drill on the wiffle ball toy because the clips have a tendency to slip out otherwise, BUT it is still do-able.)

And lastly, one of the MANY reasons why I love using the plastic storage totes is that you can have a swing without doing any drilling whatsoever!

Plus, you can always hang more Monkeys-in-a-Barrel Monkeys all over the links.

There you go! Toys in a SNAP!

Now I'm getting angry Rebecca. I bought all these things to make toys with and it's just not happening. Me and rexlace or rather my daughter and rexlace are oil and water. I didn't get the c-links. Guess I better head to JoAnns tomorrow again. Gotta get this all done really quick. It's for my gift exchange buddy.

If you're looking for C-links aka "Learning Links", (*listed under Link N Learn as the brand of "Learning Links")
your best bet to find them in a store is if you have a School Learning Supply Shop, such as

The School Box

Or you can find them online on Amazon (for cheaper, I might add).

Or if you don't quite want a 1000 (but if you're a toy making addict like me, you will. I've already gone through 1000, working on my second bucket...), you can always order from a sugar glider toy parts online store such as (my favorite) Gliders and Gear .

Thanks a bunch RC, all great ideas, I don't drill, lol. I especially like the 2 in the 2nd pic, although all look nice & fun.
About to order some more C-links.

My husband likes that one, too. One word of advice? Lay all the bracelets down first and then clip them. If you pick them up, it ends up in a confusing mess! Pick the project up after you've clipped them. Gave me a bit of a headache for a moment.

These all took me less than 5 minutes to do EACH. So those of you pressed on time? This tutorial is for you!

Not to mention this is great if you have chewers because there's not a bit of craftlace involved!

I've made more toys, but for the glider playground, or gym, or GPG, lol. I just ordered my C-links and will be off to the Dollar Tree for some bracelets and I'll be making the gliders one of those fun toys, can you guess which one?

I've been able to find all SORTS of things everywhere EXCEPT for the Link N Learn links (aka C links). In store, I've only been able to find them at The School Box Store. When I moved from Fayetteville, GA to Augusta, GA, there wasn't a School Box Store near me, but the equivalent School Days, does carry it. Try and find an educational school supply shop for the C links.

Target is the best place to get the storage totes! You get the best deals at Target, near the front entrance where you'll find the Dollar Bins.

Walmart has a wide variety of bracelets and that's where I get these cat bells. I've seen other cat bells at PetSmart/PetCo but not of this design. You will find those items in the Party Favor Section, usually near the gift wrap & ribbons area. (That's true of any store). (By comparison, Target's Party Favor Section is sadly lacking. Both Target AND Walmart have Wiffle Balls in their sporting goods section.)

Haven't shopped at a Kmart in forever. They are few and far between. But I imagine it'll be the same set up: Party Favor Section near the Gift Wrap area (or maybe kids' toys).

The Dollar Tree/The Dollar Store
is a MUST for any toy maker: That's where I found the plastic heart/flower/star shapes. They also carry many plastic bracelets.

Party City can ALMOST be your one-stop shop except for the cat bells, and C links, of course...but they're a bit on the pricier side.
