I'm interested in converting a purse into a travel pouch for my gliders. Since most pouches are fleece and hang around your neck, they're very awkward for me, especially when facing Michigan winters when I need to bundle up with coats and scarves. I want a side strap purse that will blend in a lot more with everyday clothes (basic black, most likely) and not look as childish as a lot of these fleece pouches. Does anyone have any experience in this field? Would it be easier to line a medium-sized purse pocked with removable fleece to wash or should I look into dog carrier purses for airflow purposes? Does anyone ever keep their pouch in their purse? If so, are you ever worried about airflow issues or do you just leave it open/unzipped? I have four gliders so I would need something kind of spacious.

Also, if any of you already make something like this, feel free to send me pics. It seems like whenever I see something I like on previous posts, everyone stops making things or their websites are down.

It has a large screen area but you can wear it turned against the body for warmth rather than turned out for extra ventilation.
