The cage Sebastian came with when I rescued him is rusted and definitely needs replacing. What do you think of this model? I bought it today:

I wanted something large enough to house another glider once he's neutered and I find him a friend.

It looks great definitely big enough for two gliders.

Thanks! I was mostly concerned because the width is 19". I think I read somewhere that you should aim for a minimum of 2 ft. I liked this one because of the height primarily.

You will need to zip tie the bottom grate to the base and the little side doors closed. But other than that I love that cage!

If you look in the pictures, there are these metal grated ladders and platforms. They say they are safe for paws, but does anyone know if they are okay for suggie hands? I'm not sure if I should use them or not.

You might want to use one or two of the shelves but gliders do not need the ramps.

Sometimes the ramps have wire spacing that is more than 1/2 inch apart which might entrap a glider if it sticks its head between the bars. Plus, ramps take up a lot of jumping space in a glider cage.

Thank you, Candy. That was my concern. I think I'll stick to fleece ropes and braided ladders.
