I am making the suggie soup and I noticed that the 12oz honey is only equal to 1 cup. So in the recipe it needs 2 cups. Is this going by actual cup sizes or do they want us to go with 16oz of honey. Honey is actually measured by weight is the reason it's not equal.

Yes the honey should be measured using a standard kitchen measuring cup.
