I have two sugar gliders, 1 is a little over a year old, Batman and the other is almost 1 years old, Nightwing. I bought Batman first in March and then bought Nightwing sometime in April. At first They got along really well, they wouldn't be really noisy and no fighting and would cuddle up together when sleeping. Until recently, I want to say for about a week, Nightwing has been barking but in a weird way throughout the whole time they are awake. Today, I was finally able to see what was going on and from what it looks like Batman goes on top of Nightwing and bites him. What is going on? Is this normal? What are they doing? What should I do? Nightwing isn't injured, I have checked him. But I am concerned because they were getting along before but now all of a sudden this is happening.

Don't take my word on it because I don't know anything but getting on top? Sounds like they are mating. But don't take my word at all

I've seen my girls do something similar. I think it may be a dominance thing. Not completely sure.

Fighting usually contains chasing a balling up. It also sounds horrible.

It is Batman asserting dominance over nightwing, it's normal.
Just watch out for any wounds.
