Our girls are chewers-they love to climb on our heads, pull on hair and 'scrape' the skin off in spots.
They love us, and they are so sweet,but they still do this. My mom says that it can't be good that they get saliva up there, and I say they don't. Being exotic, they can't catch things from us, and we can't catch things from them. And she says :on, you don't know for sure though.:
Then they talk about no science has been done...Can anyone point me to some scientific research? I know when I first joined a few years ago, on her website Candy had some papers listed, that I haven't seen since.

Can anyone provide a little insight to my dilemma?

Sorry you haven't received any replies yet. The only reason I can think of is that maybe people are baffled, like me
I'm not aware of any scientific research but my main concern with your gliders "chewing" is that it's probably not good for you for them to scrape the skin off and not good for them to possibly ingest hair products.
