Hi!
So I was just doing the usaul paper towel swap out thing for Rocky’s cage, when I noticed something, interesting to say the least. On the floor of his cage was a paper towel tube ( which I’d hope he’d have fun with) and some chew stick thing . As I took it out , I realized that Rocky had completely chewed a giant hole in the tube, and there were chew marks all over the stick, which I never really intended to use in the first place! I noticed he hasn’t been using his Silent Runner wheel lately, I was thinking maybe him chewing is just a sign that he’s bored? Or a sign of stress? Sugar gliders aren’t rodents, so they don’t chew, right? I’ve never heard of a sugar glider that actually likes to chew, so I’m just kind of guessing somethings up. What do you think is going on, if anything? Do you think it could hurt him? I don’t think I’ve noticed any chipped teeth yet, but still, I don’t think sugar gliders chewing is normal...
