Unfortunately where I live, I not have a whole lot of options in the glider specialist department. I took him and his cage mate to the vet because she was being very vocal when she pooped,so I suspected UTI. The male doesn't seem to have any discomfort at all, but does have an incontinence problem along with a good amount of swelling. If you were to cut a grape in half and put it on a plate, flat side down, is the best representation I can think of. The vet has called his specialist friend in tennessee , but she has not heard of anything like this and doesn't have enough cause to "sedate him, and express his anal glands." I guess I was hoping that someone out there has had something similar to share because it's hindering our bonding process. Nobody wants to be drenched in pee of course, but it's not his fault.
