Hi everyone, had an interesting idea over the weekend. I noticed yesterday evening, walking by my gliders cage, they seem to get a little startled sometimes by my text message beeps and the phone ringing. So I wondered if I download some audio of sugar gliders (mom singing or maybe playful Joey's barking or something positive) and set those as my message and call alerts instead of the technical beep and boops we usually have, if maybe it might be a positive way for the gliders to recognize with us versus the complete opposite.
I know many people (I'm guilty) keep their phones on their person almost 24/7 and in many cases their gliders too (during their sleep time, not really 24/7) when we have them in our bonding pouches and they're going with us during the days, right along with our phones.
If anyone has experience or experimented with this situation, I would love to hear about their gliders reactions and how it went. Thanks everyone!
